Professional and Educational
Dr. Ó Conchúir is Founder and CEO at Scatterwork GmbH, Switzerland where he is active as Consultant, Trainer & Coach.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Wales, a Doctorate in Biomedical Electronics from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland and is a Chartered Engineer CEng and Fellow of both the Institution of Engineering & Technology and Engineers Ireland. He also holds Project Management Professional (PMP®) and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) accreditations.
His professional volunteer activities include Chair of the Biomedical Engineering Division of Engineers Ireland, “the professional body for engineers in Ireland” and leading onsite university visits for the Global Accreditation Centre of the Project Management Institute, “the world’s leading professional organisation for Project Managers”.
He was instrumental in establishing several successful educational organisations, including the Enterprise Research Institute at the University of Limerick, the Programme of Engineering Degree Courses at the Waterford Institute of Technology, a secondary school and a primary school.
Speaking four languages fluently (Deutsch, English, français, Gaeilge), he can address well over a third of EU citizens in their native languages.
